Question about WireGuard.

When WireGuard is fully integrated into the PIA applications will we be provided with a wider range of encryption options to choose from?
I noticed that WireGuard offers a wide range of the encryption algorithms such as the Noise protocol framework, Curve25519, ChaCha20, Poly1305, BLAKE2, SipHash24, HKDF. I'm really hoping that we will see more encryption options in the future updates because of the Wireguard implementation

  • No information on this yet from our development team, but I would assume that if we consider them as secure enough and supporting those doesn't cause other issues on the servers I don't see any reason why not. I'm pretty excited too to see what's coming!

Wow, glad I've been with PIA for the past 3+ years. I've tried WireGuard from another vpn provider and it was excellent. Max-P, could you ask your deveolpement team to also integrate the 'Blind Operator Mode', here's the link from the developer of WireGuard https://lists.zx2c4.com/pipermail/wireguard/2017-November/001969.html I look forward to using Wireguard on PIA !! Thanks everybody.

Yep, blind operator mode is super important if you want wireguard to be secure.
