Airport Express connected to Comcast arris Modem

How should i connect my airport express to the comcast router? And what configurations should i have setup for it? For wifi also?
Right now i have the ethernet connected to the airport and the modem connected by ethernet to the airport express

    Sounds right to me. Basically your modem only provides an Ethernet port that's directly connected to the Internet, and the router (in your case your Airport Express) is responsible for "splitting" it off for all computers and wireless clients.

    Overall, there are many, many valid network configurations. What are the specifics of what you are trying to achieve and what are your worries?
