  • Mine is set as follows

    NAT-PMP is enabled
    Randomize port is enabled
    Resolve hostname is disabled

Also check to make sure your fire wall is not blocking you connections

I have enabled the NAT-PMP, allowed the randomized port and disabled the "use proxy for hostname lookup" (I guess that is what you have reffered to). Checked that I am using the right username / password. Disabled my firewall temporarily.

No change. Still can't download anything :(

Is the proxy name / port correct? proxy-nl.privateinternetaccess.com, 1080

Anything on the bittorrent settings which should differ from what I have?
  • Yes, I have the same proxy name / port.

Go to ipleak.net and look for Torrent Address Detection. Click on Activate. It should open your Torrent and you should have "ipleak.net torrent detection" in the download window. Highlight the torrent and click on Trackers in the window below. You should see the IP address for the Proxy if you are actually connecting. Otherwise it will show a message about not connecting.

Tell us what your results are.

no downloads, I have this in the trackers tab:

The ipleak page says: "No data just now from the above magnet url."
  • Go back to PIA control panel and redo your login and password. For some reason it appears you have the wrong pair. Might not be your fault, so best to just get new credentials.
  • I have regenerated my SOCKS username and password, copied it to uTorrent, but still no downloads. Status line at the bottom of the window says: "DHT waiting to log in" but nothing happens and then I see the same as above (access denied)
