Per app settings
Hello. I have a pixel 2 XL, latest updates and all that jazz. Here's the deal. I connect PIA, and check my IP address through the duckduckgo app and chrome. Both show my real IP address. I look in per app settings and see that they're all toggled differently, I didn't set them up it's just what the app did. When the lock is toggled green, a dialog box pops up and says that it's using the VPN. When it's toggled red, it says it's NOT using the VPN. In practice however I've found that when the different browsers are toggled to red (meaning they shouldn't be issuing the VPN) that's actually when they show the PIA IP address correctly (as in not my real one).
I'm just confused. Apparently, at least for me, red means on and green means off. Wondering if others are having this issue.
