How to access PIA VPN on QNAP
I would like to be able to use PIA on my QNAPTS-431+ the same way I use it on my desktop. Currently I use my NAS for torrents instead of leaving my desktop PC running all the time. I have the SOCK5 proxy info entered into Transmission's config file (including user and password for the proxy), but it does not seem to work. I got a copyright notice email from my ISP about a show I downloaded, and it was downloaded using Transmission which was supposed to be using the SOCK5 proxy.
So question 1: does the proxy not work the way I think it does? Q2: What did I do wrong? Q3: Is there a way to use the PIA VPN on the QNAP? I don't want to turn the NAS into a VPN server; I want it to connect to the VPN before connecting to the internet.
