I am getting this virus detection on Windows 10 machines, but the weird thing is it isn't all of them, just some of them trigger it, and they are all updated with virus definitions.
That would be a false positive. It's not uncommon that PIA somehow trips behavioral analysis or just look like a virus because it bundles Ruby with it (because it's written in Ruby). PIA does not contain any viruses. We even build it on dedicated build servers that only do that, so there can't be any virus that came from the developer's workstations.
