Cannot Access Internet When VPN Is On

I turned in a ticket about this two days ago, but besides an automated message have heard nothing.

I've had PIA for a year or so, and all has been fine until about a week ago. Now I cannot access the internet on my Surface Pro 4 when PIA is on. As soon as the VPN connects all internet access stops. As soon as I disconnect PIA it comes back.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the Windows 10 app. I have also tried changing the ports as directed on the "troublshooting" page. Obviously a VPN is useless if I can't use the internet with it on.

How do I fix this?

    No Internet when connecting the VPN usually happens for two reasons: either there is a DNS issue which PIA is blocking, or there is something in the routing table that makes it so the data doesn't go anywhere.

    I would first try setting PIA's DNS on your main network connection and see if it helps. If it doesn't work, can you please send us a debug log so we can have a look at the details?

    Also, what error message do you get specifically when trying to browse? Typically the error message the browser returns is fairly precise as to what is not working on the network stack.
