Is there any way to subscribe to posts so replies are emailed to me?

Granted, maybe I just can't find it?  I can't say I have ever come across a forum (free or paid) that didn't have this option (phpBB, vBulletin, etc.).

    Try this:

    https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/forum/profile/preferences/[your user name]

    if that doesn't work, then you need to enter your profile
    look for a link icon just to the left of the SEARCH box
    click on the down arrow and you should see EDIT PROFILE
    on the right hand side, you should see a menu
    click on NOTIFICATION PREFERENCES
    there you can select the type of notification for which forums

    SOLVED:  Oh, I see.  I thought the "Edit Profile" link was for editing the "About" information on that page.  As a side note, what is the "Activity" section for?.  Thanks.

    If you have a profile image and you make any changes to that image, it will show up in the Activity section. There may be other activities that show up there, but, in my case, only changes to my profile image show up there.

    For me this functionality is broken. I subscribed to get emails whenever something is posted in the Announcement forum for example so I know when there is a new version and I never get any emails.

    This is strange. @Haloan, did you get a notification for that tag? I always get my email notifications for new topics.

    Have you made sure to check your spam folder or that you can receive the forum's emails in general?

    Max-P  I got a notification in my user profile area with number 1 but no email. 
    I used to get emails from the forum and then they stopped. 
    Nothing is trapped in spam.
