How to setup vpn on Netgear WNR1000

For my Negear WNR1000 router. I don't think the tomato firmware will work, but the DD-WRT says it supports my router. I have no idea how to flash this to the router. Can anyone help me out? Not worried about bricking, it's an extra router that I'm going to use just for VPN connections.

    DD-WRT has some very good tutorials on how to flash their ROMs on various routers. Have you checked their site for that information? This does not include how to setup the router for PIA, just how to do a clean flash of their firmware.
