Torrent will not start when PIA is on but works after finding intial seeds

Hello,

I have been running into this issue for quite a while. When i have PIA on 90% of the time a torrent will not find any seeds or peers. However if i turn PIA off and restart my torrent client it then works. After it connects to the initial seeds or peers it will then let me torrent with PIA on. I do not have a proxy enabled in qBittorrent either.  I have noticed this happening with 3 different ISP's and across several different computers.Does anyone have an idea why it could be doing this?

Im using Qbtorrent but have noticed this with other clients
My PIA settings
request port forwarding - on
mace - off -
VPN kill - off
ipv6 leak - off -
use small packets - off
debug mode -off
I have UPNP enabled on my router as well.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I occasionally have to reboot my client / reset SOCKS5 but afterwards it works fine. I suggest either downloading another client to see if that one works. If it fixes the issue I imagine there is a setting in the torrent client tripping you up. Reset settings? I really like Vuze Extreme Mod.
