Regarding recent downtime

Dear all,

Regarding the outages that occurred last week, after updating a kernel version to our servers due to a vulnerability, we had to restart services, including our authentication services. Upon restart, these services were overloaded by the queued authentication attempts. Our user base has grown considerably and did not anticipate this overload to occur. We have now remedied the issue and updated/increased our infrastructure with more capacity to prevent this from occurring again. 

In addition to our servers, our website ran into the a similar issue where a secondary cache was not setup to start automatically, causing the website to go down due to overload. And once again, we have remedied and increased capacity to ensure this does not happen again.

We deeply apologize on many ends for the inconvenience this has brought to all of our users. We really appreciate your business and your patience during this process.
