KillSwitch By Program?

Now that there is actual development work being done on the client, is it a possibility that the current all-or-nothing KillSwitch can be adjust to selectively cut access to identified programs?  Some people may choose to have it kill the internet connection completely, as it currently does, but I would prefer to only cut the connection to specific programs running at the time.
