Do I need vpn on my NAS that stores my seeding torrent's

Hi all im new to network and protection.

I want to move my completed torrents to my NAS. Do I need to have vpn on the NAS or just on the hosting pc of torrent cliant ?

    The VPN protects the path between you PC and the Server at PIA. If your NAS is connected via the internet out side of your control then I would say yes. However, if the NAS is within your control (storage device direct connected to your PC) then no, you do not need a VPN. Even if you are using WIFI but within your control then you are good. Just anything that leaves you system to go somewhere that you do not have control then it is recommended to be encrypted.

    the nas is a part of my local network so im gusing its ok to have that pc without pia. OK TY :)
