Can't run as administrator

in Windows VPN Setup
I just updated my Windows 10 to version 1803.  No problems.  When I restarted the computer PIA would not run.  It says I can't run unless I am an administrator.   I am and when the program starts I give it elevated privileges through the UAC.  I have re-installed v79 but no change in behavior.  Any thoughts?

    uninstall the run latest v80 run exe as admin by right clicking mouse which should give  that option

    Same. I've been fighting with it all day. Still no go. Followed directions again and again to fresh reinstall. At first it looked like a conflict with Amazon Music but I deleted that. Tried to System Restore, couldn't do that.  My windows 10 login pins disappeared too. All this started after the v80 update.

    hello,

    discover the app in the start Menu beneath All apps as you'll have completed before.


    All apps

    Step 

    click Open document area from within the extra menu.


    Open record place

    Step three

    proper click on the software and select homes.

    Step 4

    click on advanced inside the Shortcut tab that's the default one.

    Tick the Run as administrator container and click adequate.

    Step Six

    click on ok on the main homes window and click preserve. you can want your administrator to approve the change in case you do not have enough privileges.
