Private Internet Access Releases Desktop Client v80

Dear beloved customers,

We have just released the latest version of our Private Internet Access desktop client for Windows, Mac, and Linux: v.80.  Among minor performance enhancements comes a few updates to our menu. You can also view the changelog inside of the client and have improved MacOS functionality.

The full changelog is as follows:

 - Added About page

 - Added New help menu item

 - Added translations for missing regions

 - Updated nwjs to 0.30.5 (fixes a memory leak)

 - Linux: Installed additional libappindicator packages to fix the tray on some systems

 - macOS: Client now offers to shutdown PIA processes during upgrades

 - macOS: Discontinued OSX 10.9 support

 - macOS: Unquarantines application after install
