Sending e-mail is like a roulette

After some thought, my ISP is blocking some of PIA IP addresses because of mass spamming.
I am hurt by another PIA user. I have to reconnect to PIA to find a suitable IP address that is not blocked.

  • Hello. Current restrictions on SMTP servers lead me to consider changing from VPN provider. Any recommendations? Do you know if these restrictions are in place in all other VPNs? Thank you very much for your opinion and help. Thank you.
  • Hello PIA0904, we have recently instituted new policies regarding the whitelisting of SMTP servers due to a small number of our users abusing the privilege of anonymity that PIA provides to send large quantities of spam email. If you would like to have your SMTP server whitelisted, we will need you to open a support request ticket in our helpdesk. You will need to include the following information for your SMTP server to be whitelisted(Only 1 IP Address per customer will be authorized):

    • Your "p" username that is used to connect to our service
    • A point of contact email address that emails can be sent to once a month that will require a reply to maintain the whitelisting
    • Either an IP Address for your SMTP server, or your smtp server name(IP address obtained by the customer is the best, as you will have an IP Address that is local to you rather than local to the support staff)
    • You must also have at least 6 months tenure with PIA to request whitelisting
