  • "I can't speak to what happened on someone else's watch." is a cop-out if there ever was one. It is the responsibility of the new owner to find out why and prevent it from ever happening again.

    Trust is earned, not demanded. IPVanish will have to do a lot to get their trust back. Loyal users will stay with them, but it is the new customers that will want to know what assurances IPVanish can offer them.

    After this it's going to be extremely difficult (if not impossible) for IPVanish to convince anyone to trust them ever again.
