Like the title says. To be clear, is it safe and trouble free to use a PIA extension at the same time as the desktop client? Thanks.

    Can confirm it's possible and you shouldn't have any issues doing so The Chrome Extension works by redirecting all Chrome traffic through a HTTPS proxy server. All PIA regions available through the proxy service will use TLSv1.2 to encrypt communication between your browser and our servers.


    The Chrome extension does not affect applications other than Google Chrome, and can be used with or without the PIA desktop application.

    Same applies for the Firefox extension
