Using PIA on Mac with Parallels VM (Windows 7)

in Mac OS X VPN Setup
If I am running a Windows VM on my Mac do I run PIA on the Mac OS and this will provide VPN protection when using the Windows VM?

Or do I run PIA in BOTH Mac OS and on the Windows VM?

    p9833987 Please use PIA on both your machines, Mac OS and on the Windows VM to stay protected on each device while in use.
