Just did this with my Raspberry Pi 3 OSMC install and it worked! The only thing the video did not cover that you need to do first is to access the command line on OSMC.
In OSMC from the main menu > Power > Exit, then hit ESC key when you see the OSMC logo
after that begin the video below:
