Torrents will not start downloading with PIA active
Hello,
I am using the torrent client Tixati. I have the SOCK5 proxy set up in the settings. If I have PIA active on my desktop, torrents will not start downloading. If I turn off PIA, torrents begin downloading and continue once I turn PIA back on (Swedish server - I require port forwarding so Norway is not a long-term option.)
This method got me a content strike from my ISP last week, so I cannot do this.
Any ideas?
More details: DHT and UDP are disabled for further security. Killswitch is not active, since I have to turn off PIA to get torrents to work at all. My OS is Windows 10. Happy to answer any more questions that will help with diagnosis.

I am sorry to hear your experiencing issues with your torrents. However, you should not disconnect and allow the torrents to run without the VPN as this will not protect you from the ISP. When you disconnected to begin the torrent, your real IP was used. Then re-connecting the PIA VPN did not help as the ISP already had the real IP address. Some of the settings with ion the VPN may be jeopardizing the Torrents from starting (i.e port forwarding). I would recommend changing the settings if possible to see what is not allowing the torrents to begin with PIA active. If not, please try a different torrent client. We are not able to recommend any single torrent client as we do not directly support the use of torrenting. Thank you from the PIA-CS Team
