Uninstalled Chrome Extension Still prompting for login

I uninstalled the extension but i cannot view any sites until I log in. I want to rid my browser of the extension but it constantly prompts me. If I log in everything works but I am under the proxy. How can I completely uninstall the extension??

Did you clear your cache? Clear all your temporary files? I am not a Chrome user but most issues I have with Firefox can be fixed with clearing cache and temporary files. The last resort is to refresh the browser.

Of course this might be too simple of a solution, but it is worth trying if you haven't done so already.

I have tried this and uninstall/reinstall but the problem persists.

Did you check C:\Users\[login_name]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions folder for any residual PIA folders?

Until one of the Tech Support guys sees this, go ahead and fill out a support ticket if you haven't already done so.

This may assist you: https://blog.pcrisk.com/general-information/7734-remove-chrome-extension-installed-by-enterprise-policy It mentions how the extinction may be installed via 'enterprise policy' and may be the reason you are receiving the prompt to reinstall it. Let us know if this or Omnibus_IV's suggestion were helpful.

Further more, you can always try to remove chrome completely, reboot the device, then reinstall a fresh copy of Chrome Browser ans see if the prompt is still reoccurring. There may also be a setting in your manage extensions settings of the chrome browser that is prompting the VPN reinstall as well. - PIA CS TEAM
