How to use PIA as firewall for apps on android

I found a way to use PIA as a firewall on android, no root required.
it's not the prettiest but it does the job,
since almost every firewall app on android uses VPN and you cant use PIA with them, I came up with this method.

1. You need to turn on the VPN kill switch from within the app and also if you have android 8.0+ from within the settings with "Always-on VPN" and "Block connections without VPN" enabled.
2. Set the apps you want to block to "unprotected" in "per app settings" section of PIA client app
3. that's it, just reconnect and enjoy blocking those apps

This way those app will never have access to internet but the downside is the rest of phone wont have internet either if you are not connected to VPN. given other firewall apps also need you to be connected to their local VPN server at all times to be protected, it's not a great trade off.
to remove the block, simply set them to "protected" and restart the connection.
