PIA URL blocked but not IP

So I have discovered that at work, the URL’s that the PIA app tries to connect to are blocked, but if I manually configure the VPN connection in settings, and use the IP address, it is not blocked.  Is there a way to tell the app (I use iOS, Mac, and Windows) to use the IP of the VPN server instead of the URL?

Not with the PIA app unfortunately. You would need to use OpenVPN with an ovpn file that has an IP instead of the hostname. You can generate an ovpn file from your control panel in your account page. Having that feature in the PIA app is a really great idea!

Excellent.  Is there a way that I could suggest that feature for the app?  I will give the OpenVPN configuration a try later today and see how it works out.
