PIA manager and dnsleaktest.com say I'm connected but I'm not.

Since july I've been using the v82 legacy manager on lubuntu 16.04, 32 bit. Sometime in the past week I started having this problem. I just noticed it after getting IP banned from a site and trying to re-enter it via VPN. Saw I'm still banned though, and the ban page displays the different IP. Same thing with every VPN location I've tried on the list. However, this problem does not occur on any other computer in the house using our PIA account, so I know it's not the fault of the PIA service or because of any VPN blocking on the part of that website.

What went wrong and how do I fix it?

    @foxeee, have you tried installing our new app? I'd strongly recommend giving it a try over v82 - it's much more robust in terms of firewall and handling any underlying issues with OpenVPN.
