Theoretical question, creating your own VPN concerns.
One of the reasons for not creating your own VPN is that you're the only one using it, and the only search results there is are yours, whereas other VPNs have results from multiple users so it would be difficulty to pin point the data directly to you.
So bear with me here, theoretically, let's say for this project money is no object (and if it was, you could ask for donation from the privacy-ware community). You decide to create a private VPN, research it, add encryption, security, and since you're so paranoid you literally create a program which shreds all data searches of the VPN and basically get it to the same level as online VPNs (or a level above). You build the server is your basement, add security and fund it all. Now, you provide the VPN for free online (your plan isn't to make money off it), now your VPN has thousands of users and your data is not pin pointed to yourself. Is this a feasible solution, despite is being absurd and costly?
