Menu Bar icon on macOS Catalina

While PIA's client supports both dark and light modes, the icon does not automatically update when using the system's built-in automatic switching between the two.

As such, depending on when you started up the app, the icon will be invisible during the day or night.

If you switch between the two modes manually, the icon will change appropriately, but not when using the OS' automatic mode switching based on sunrise/sunset.

Unfortunately, we do not directly support the new Catalina OS as Apple is still in it's beta version. We will will not have a usable application until Apple directly supports that version of their OS and after we create a version for supporting Catalina.  device. This does not mean connecting is impossible, we are not able to assist.

When do you folks suggest that the app will work again with catalina? currently I see a spinning beachball everytime I launch the app.

I'm seeing the spinning too, even on 10.5.1. It's not in beta anymore, and I can't get it not to spin, even if I manually switch between light or dark mode. Wondering what's up, but I haven't been able to use this since my Mac was running 10.14.
