PIA killed internet access in Windows 10
A few days ago I noticed that my laptop could no longer access the internet, no matter which wifi AP I accessed. I have tried 2 different routers at home, and also the wifi hotspot on my mobile phone. In each case, I can connect to the wifi network, but cannot access the internet.
See the attached pic. Windows reports that the problem is with "Private Internet Access Firewall".
I have:
Uninstalled PIA and the TAP driver
Done a Windows Network Reset
Rebooted several times
Tried using different DNS IPs
How do I completely remove PIA to get my internet connection back?

Thanks for the reply. I had done all of that prior to posting. Had no effect. Windows continued to report the PIA firewall was the problem. It seems that PIA hooks in deep to the OS, and (at least in my case) there was no way to completely remove whatever files were resulting in blocking internet access. After wasting several hours on this, I took the nuclear option and did a Windows Reset. Now I get to setup all of my apps again (which will cost me several more hours), but I least I have internet access again on that machine. Needless to say, PIA is not for me. Will be looking for a different VPN service going forward.
