Vpn and local peering

Hey guys,

Im a newbie to using vpn and I'm trying to understand a few things. A little background :- I'm from Mumbai and my ISP is using Google and netflix peering {the open connect}. So any Netflix /Google data usage (upload  https://elecpay.in/tneb/ and download) is not counted towards my limited data quota of 75 GB per month. Hypothetically IF I were use a vpn to access Netflix USA, will it count data towards my data cap? (Since I'm connecting to a USA IP) I'm sorry if not able to frame the question properly, English is not my native language.https://myip.kim/

    It will still count towards your data cap. Unfortunately, a VPN will not be able to mask or hide data usage.
