OpenVPN for Android no internet with browser

Hi
On my Phone I installed OpenVPN for Android from F-Droid. After that, I downloaded the configuration file from http://piavpn.com/ios (swiss). When I open the file with OpenVPN Android (setting username and password, paying customer) the connection seems good (success). The problem is, the browser (IceCatMobile) or email app can not load a website or get mails. It looks like there is no connection. Telegram works fine. Can someone please help me to solve this problem?

    If it is not working on IceCat, there is not much we can do on the issue as it is untested with this browser. I recommend just using Telegram or another browser.

    Is it really possible, that a messanger app works and a browser not? I also tried another browser but with no luck.

    1. Check your underlying connection
    If you cannot access the internet, the problem has to do with your internet connection. You may need to reboot your device and check your network settings to fix this.
    Check for incorrect date and time settings:
    2. Install the latest version of your VPN
    3. Connect to a different server location
    4. Change your DNS server configuration
    5. Uninstall and reinstall your VPN
    6. Adjust your proxy settings
