I noticed a new button for "Network Management" in the android app. What exactly does this do? I looked through settings and can't find something that look like it.
I apologize for the delay in reply, we are experiencing a higher than normal back log.
The Network Management button turns on or off the Trusted WiFi feature. This allows you to whitelist specific networks, so your phone knows not to connect the the VPN when using them. If this feature is active, when you connect to a network that is not whitelisted, the VPN will connect automatically.
You can find the list under Trusted WiFi in our Settings menu.
So, if you whitelist a WiFi access point (SSID) all transfers are in the clear? What about surfing the web from a device that's connected to a whitelisted WiFi? Are web transactions also in the clear? If so, that would seem to defeat the purpose of the VPN.
