VPN has low latency on Android device and high latency on computer using same router

I use PIA VPN on two devices.  Both are connected to the same router.  However, the VPN client on my computer is displaying latency times 4-5 times higher than the ones on my Android device.  How is that possible?

I just uninstalled and re-installed and all times are between 321ms and 1200ms for the United States.  My Android is 61ms to 133ms for the entire country.  Any thoughts other than my packets are traveling the entire globe when using my computer?

    On your PC are you using the default setting that were present during installation?

    Are these just what the app is displaying or have you done speed tests or seen high stuttering, slow website loading, slow downloads, etc.? A lot of times, these ms values are not accurate to the connection to the server.
