Doesn't Download From Play Store While Connected to PIA!!

Currently running Android Pie and have PIA version 3.2.0 downloaded.

For awhile now (don't know specific version #'s, never paid attention), whenever I'm connected to PIA, downloads from the Google Play store don't ever go past "waiting for download". As soon as I disconnect, the downloads start and finish within seconds.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling PIA, I've tried formatting/resetting my phone (Galaxy Note 9), and I've even contacted Google but only got an automated response of course. I prefer to use the "Always On VPN" and "Block Connections  showbox Without VPN" option so having to disconnect for downloads is quite a pain. However I have tried a combination of settings, disabling the Always On and Block Connections and Google Play still doesn't download until I disconnect. I lowered the settings in the PIA app

The issue isn't just me. My s/o has a Note 9 as well and uses my a usps tracking ccount. Same OS and PIA version, and same issue. Downloads from Google Play store never go past the "waiting for download" option until disconnect. This applies to new downloads, updates to apps, and recently when I purchase in app purchases, they take quite awhile (10-20 mins) to register as being purchased.

Any suggestions on where to go from here? Thanks in advance!

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VPN.  The workaround here is to add the Google Play store as an exception in Per App Settings.  Doing so will assign the Google Play traffic to an unencrypted tunnel, while the rest of your device is still behind the VPN.  This link will take you to our Per App Settings guide - https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/helpdesk/guides/android/android-2/android-per-app-settings

You will want to add Google Play Store from the list.  If you continue to see this behavior, add Google Play Services too.
