system return from sleep mode (issue report)
(Jerry L. at the Support Portal recommended reporting this here)
my initial report:
upon waking back up from sleep mode, re-establishing the wifi connection takes a couple moments and while that is happening, the PIA VPN software emits a crazy number of rapid error messages in the Action Center. shouldn't the PIA VPN software be able to detect return from sleep mode and/or the wireless connection is being re-established (but not yet completed) and just relax and wait?
the reply from Support did not actually address the issue i reported and since i sensed misunderstanding, i elaborated:
1. i am not using Killswitch
2. i am reporting an issue having to do with RETURNING FROM sleep mode, not GOING INTO sleep mode.
obviously, the Internet connection is interrupted when ENTERING sleep mode.
please re-read my initial report again. then consider these words: upon RETURNING FROM sleep mode, in the time between the system being reactivated and the wifi connection being reactivated, the PIA VPN software issues a CRAZY NUMBER OF ERROR MESSAGES all shown in the ACCESS CENTER (Winkey+A) and continues generating error messages UNTIL THE WIFI CONNECTION IS RE-ESTABLISHED.
thank you for re-reading and taking the time to understand the issue i am reporting.
