Debian 9 PIA worked fine upgraded to Debian 10 PIA does not work unless using Legacy V8.

Was getting crash errors on all new versions after updating debian 9 to debian 10.

I am happy to hear that updating your graphics drivers resolved this issue. There are some known issues with certain graphics cards that can cause the kind of behavior you were seeing. The fix is to update them.

If you see any other strange behavior with our program, please try to use the "Disable Accelerated Graphics" option, you can find this in the Help tab in the program's Settings menu.

Hello PIAMarc, the problem was I upgraded my Debian system without thinking, All other programs worked fine. I was shocked to learn because of graphic driver issues i was unable to start the app and had to rol back to legacy version v8. from 2018 than updated drivers and it worked fine so i guess educational experience for all. Thank you for actually replying though I was really stressing out about this, having this be the only application that did not work after rolling a Linux update is mind blowing. Guess I will have to do it when im not in a big rush next time to focus.
