pia killswitch in windows

in pia windows version,if i enable killswitch and exit from client app,killswitch will be disabled.while in other vpn app such as nord not that
in nordvpn if i enable killswitch and exit from app,killswitch still works and internet disables.
i guess in nordvpn,killswitch is controlled by nordvpn windows service but in pia it controlled by client!
its very bad for security and protection and it causes any leak.
please change or fix this issue

With our Split Tunnel feature, individual apps can be set to Only VPN, which will block them even if the client is not running. Our general killswitch is controlled by the service, but there isn’t a way to keep it active when the client is closed currently. We’re considering improvements to that for future releases.
