Google location does not change

Hello,

I am new here and to VPN. No matter what country I choose, when I go to google, it remains the same (local) google displaying content from my region and in my country's language (and of course I have reloaded the page).
I am confused, supposedly I am using VPN to not reveal my IP, how then google displays content in my region?

    I have found that cookies are the culprit. I installed Cookie AutoDelete as an add-on and deleted my cookies for Google and Yahoo. New I show up as the physical location of the server I am connected to, Before activating PIA, clear your cookies for Google, exit your browser, activate PIA, then access Google through your browser. But make sure your browser is closed before you access PIA.

    @Omnibus_IV that helped thanks! I have done it without installing any third-party software for cookies, I just went to the cookies settings and deleted all that are related to google.

    Good job. The reason I use an add-on is to prevent my browser from going bonkers when I have all third-party cookies blocked. So the add-on allows me to be selective when blocking cookies but allow some cookies to reside. The add-on also auto-cleans older cookies from sites I have not visited in awhile. YMMV and JMHO

    If you're using Google, go into incognito mode. The Google location will be reflected to the server you're connected to on PIA. If I don't use incognito mode, the regular Chrome browser will show my current location on Google that's not on the server I connected to.
