PIA consuming large amounts of bandwidth

I loaded up the VPN earlier to download something and I noticed both network adapters were using a lot of data that I only expected one to show. I checked windows 10 data usage page and was shocked to see this.

What's up with openVPN using so much bandwidth?

Edit: I think I solved it. Turning encryption off seems to have stopped the huge overhead.

Hello Rowsol, I apologize for the inconvenience of this. Try enabling the Wiregaurd protocol as it is much more efficient as oppose to OpenVPN when it comes to CPU usage.
