Android Killswitch Issues

I have been experiencing
issues with the android application for the past few months. Where after
a certain time the Killswitch will no longer work. My android versions
are 4.3 jellybean and 4.4.4 Kitkat, both devices are running the newly
released 1.1.6 now.

I just wanted to see if any other private Internet access users are
experiencing this complication. If anyone is experiencing similar issues
with the Killswitch please describe your issues in detail.



How to test the Android Killswitch:


1) Leave the VPN connection active for 10 hours or more

2) Open the private Internet access application and press disconnect - clear

  • I've noticed the same exact thing. Can this be looked at and be fixed by PIA? What good is the Killswitch option if it stops working after a while?
  • Send private Internet access screenshots of the VPN after the Killswitch fails to show them exactly what's happening. I've been having this problem for what feels like forever.

    Have you submitted a ticket to tech support explaining these issues?

    What were their responses?

    If you have submitted a ticket, respond to the email but add as many details as you can. Include screenshots, video, and anything else that can prove to them that Their application is not working properly.
