proxy-nl.privateinternetaccess.com not working in Bittorrent this morning

Stuck at updating tracker.

Using: MBP W/OSX Yosemite
MBP set up in DMZ on wireless router
No firewall
Using port 1080
Proxy server: proxy-nl.privateinternetaccess.com
Checked: Use proxy for hostname lookups
Checked: Use proxy for peer-to-peer connections
VPN off
Toggled encryption from enabled to disabled, no difference.

I deleted the torrent and restarted, nothing, still updating tracker.

Its not my first rodeo and I've downloaded via this exact same setting just yesterday, no problem.

When I disable proxy and turn on VPN it works.

    Bump

I believe this is an ongoing issue.  Proxy IP changing is routine, but it doesn't explain why it's down.  I've experienced this multiple times during the holidays and even made an inquiry here at the forum.

  • Not working again. SIGH.
If I turn off Socks5 Proxy and run VPN it works.

Proxy IP: 46.166.186.211 DOES NOT WORK FOR TORRENTS

  • Working again since the proxy server changed IPs...

    New Proxy IP: 46.166.186.208

  • I am a new PIA customer and I just setup uTorrent utilizing directions I found in a couple of different places to use the proxy server.  I have been successful at connecting thru VPN without the proxy server but I continually get a "proxy connect error (timed out)"
