Setting up FoxyProxy -- not working
After successfully adding the proxy to BitTorrent, I wanted to additionally set up the Firefox FoxyProxy add-on -- but none of the attempts have worked yet.
Under "Manual Proxy Configuration," I've entered
Host or IP Address: proxy-nl.privateinternetaccess.com
Port: 1080
I've then entered by ID/pwd, and have tried both checking and unchecking "SOCKS proxy: SOCKS v5." None of these seem to allow connections.
Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to port-forward 1080 in my router, or something else?
Seems like this should be a simple set-up, but I still can't get it to work...
Thanks for any suggestion...

Proxychains is like Torsocks or "proxyify", and it forces all traffic over the proxychains configured tunnel, which can include multiple hops (including over Tor + proxy).
