Remote disconnect

I left home with the VPN still running - this means I can't connect to the box at home remotely.

Is there some way I can get PIA to remotely drop the current VPN session via their website, so the box at home will go back to not using VPN ?

    Hi oxfletch,

    Because of the way that our network is designed, there's no way to actually remotely drop the connection via our website. The VPN would most likely reconnect automatically, so such a feature wouldn't make a difference even if we could implement one.

    What I'd suggest is guiding someone you trust through accessing the machine and disabling the VPN.

    Also required to do this, annoying to see it’s not possible via account settings.

    What I did was change my password and after a few mins PIA logged itself out. It worked, and I can just change the password back when I get home.

    Not sure why support couldn’t advise this.
