Linux - Changing DNS Servers through the Network Manager

This guide will walk you through changing the DNS server settings on Linux using Network Manager.

First, disconnect the VPN. Then right click on the icon for our VPN client, click Settings, click Network, select the drop-down menu under Name Servers and select Use Existing DNS.

Step 1: Go to "System Settings".

Step 2: Click on "Network".

Step 3: Select the NON-VPN connection.

Step 4: Click "Configure".

Step 5: Click on "Method" and set it to "Automatic (DHCP) addresses only".

Step 6: Enter our DNS servers 209.222.18.222 and 209.222.18.218.

Step 7: Click Save.
