First and foremost, we fight for privacy by building a product that protects millions of people around the world. But our commitment doesn’t stop there. That’s why we’d like to announce some of our additional initiatives to protect your privacy:
- We’ve setup a sustaining/recurring donation of a large dollar amount ($20,000.00/month USD) to the EFF.
- We’ve setup a sustaining/recurring donation of a large dollar amount ($14,000.00/month USD) to Fight for the Future.
- The respectable defender of our civil liberties and creator of the political Pirate Party, Rick Falkvinge, has joined Private Internet Access fulltime as Head of Privacy.
- We continue to donate to open source projects and privacy activism groups and campaigns everywhere.

Not bad, should donate the second one to Tor project instead of future fight. Would be make very good use.
This kind of stuff is exactly why I not only trust PIA myself, but recommend it to everyone I know over every other VPN service out there. You don’t only ‘say’ you want to protect Internet privacy, you demonstrate it, you put real money behind doing so. Your claims of security aren’t what make me trust you; the fact that you put your money where your mouth is speaks volumes on its own.
