The Private Internet Access (PIA) NextGen VPN Network keeps getting better. PIA is announcing the release of its dedicated IP address feature. This feature has been widely requested. We are proud to roll out the dedicated IP address option to all of our customers, while maintaining the same no logging policy that we always have and always will.

In accordance with our strict no logging policy, Private Internet Access uses an innovative token system to offer dedicated IP addresses without connecting them to VPN accounts.

Why use a Dedicated IP Address

Unlike the shared IP addresses that most VPN customers use on our VPN servers, a dedicated IP address will only be used by you. When you use a PIA Dedicated IP Address, you are the sole user of that IP address – which will result in a smoother internet experience with less interruptions by Captchas.

Additionally, with your dedicated IP address, you’ll be able to access IP address restricted networks and configure your own IP address-based security measures. It’s important to remember that whether you use a shared IP address or a dedicated IP address from PIA, your privacy is protected.

How to sign up for a Private Internet Access Dedicated IP Address [New Customer]

  • Sign up for a Private Internet Access subscription at https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/buy-vpn/
  • Add the Dedicated IP Address to your subscription
  • Go to the Client Control Panel to choose a location for your dedicated IP address and redeem the Dedicated IP (DIP) Unique Token
  • Use your Unique DIP Token within the PIA mobile app or PIA desktop client
  • Start using your Dedicated IP Address

How to sign up for a Private Internet Access Dedicated IP Address [Existing Customer]

  • Log into your Client Control Panel at https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/client-sign-in
  • Add the Dedicated IP Address to your PIA subscription
  • In the Client Control Panel, choose a location for your dedicated IP address and redeem the Dedicated IP (DIP) Unique Token
  • Use your Unique DIP Token within the PIA mobile app or PIA desktop client
  • Start using your Dedicated IP Address

Currently, Private Internet Access only offers dedicated IP addresses in the following locations:

  • United States
  • Germany
  • United Kingdom
  • Canada
